Terms of Service

By confirming your reservation you agree to my Terms of Service.

Reservations and cancellations:

  • Meet-and-greet does not obligate either party to make the reservation. Please note that all reservations are binding once confirmed.
  • Customer (pet owner) is obligated to show a proof of payment before the reservation time. Pet-sitting service will be carried out in exchange to the proof of payment. In the case of urgent bookings I can be flexible about this term on a case-by-case basis. 
  • In the case of a cancellation, both parties are obligated to inform the other as soon as possible.
  • Customer is entitled to a refund in a case of a cancellation.

Owner agrees to

  • provide all the valid and correct information about their pet's health, behaviour and possible special needs.
  • inform me of any medical conditions the pet may have, as well as any related care procedures or medications, and provide sufficiently detailed care instructions to ensure that, for example, medication can be administered correctly.
  • making sure that their pet's vaccination is up to date. This will ensure the safety of not only your pet but of the other's that I care for as well.
  • cover for any personal injury or material damage that the pet may cause. For example in a case where the pet urinate or defecates on our carpet, the owner covers the costs of the laundry expenses. 
  • the owner is responsible for the possible damages the pet causes for third parties. 
  • owner is responsible for providing equipment such as a leash, harness or other ´that are in a safe and serviceable condition.
  • The pet must be healthy and free from any contagious diseases before the agreed care period begins.

In case an illness occurs during the care period:

  • If the pet becomes ill or suffers an injury during the care period, the pet-sitter will contact the owner immediately upon becoming aware of the situation.
  • In an emergency situation the pet-sitter has the right to take the pet to a veterinarian so that the well-being and safety of the pet is ensured. The owner is responsible for covering the costs of their pet's veterinarian care.  

Limitation of Liability: 

  • Pet-sitter is not responsible for the pre-existing medical conditions the pet has or the natural worsening of such medical conditions during or after the care period.
  • Pet-sitter is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to the pet, the owner or any third party that were the result of defects, deficiencies, or damage to equipment provided by the owner.
  • Pet-sitter is not responsible for any damages for third parties if it
  • The pet-sitter is not responsible for any damage caused by the pet to third parties, unless the damage was caused by the pet-sitter's intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

The pet-sitter agrees to:

  • exercise due care and act in the best interests of the pet at all times.
  • follow the care instructions provided by the owner.
  • to handle the owner's personal information in a confidential manner. The pet-sitter shall not disclose any information relating to the Customer unless required to do so by law.
  • cover all damages that occur if they are caused by the sitters intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

Photographing:

  • Pet-sitter agrees to send updates and pictures during the care period at the owner's request. 
  • Any photograph taken shall not be published by the pet-sitter without the owner's permission.

Handling of keys: 

  • Pet owner is responsible for ensuring that any key provided to the pet-sitter is in working order.
  • The pet-sitter is agrees to handle any key provided by the owner with care. The pet-sitter does not hand over owner's keys to third parties.
  • After the care period ends any keys provided will be returned as agreed in advance.
